Pixel Art
i find pixel art to be an interesting challenge, i've worked on smaller characters as well as bigger landscape art pieces. i tried to recreate locations from references that i felt were particularly striking.
first pixel art background i worked on, i wanted to see how the different colors would interact as pixels
pixel art has always been fascinating to me as it seemed almost impossible to be detailed with the style. however, i came across some beautifully detailed pixel art drawings on pinterest and i wanted to try it out. this particular painting was my second attempt at pixel art. since i started studying japanese, japan has been a source of inspiration for me, and it reflects in this painting.
