Minimalistic Illustrations
these are a few minimalistic illustrations and paintings i've worked on. my main goals was to use as few structures as possible, relying on abstractions of shape and form. the colors used are ones that infer to the subject of the artwork.
in these, i study silhouettes and background, along with some special effects.

pastel iridescent gradient used for color to signify their magical origins
made for an assignment of an image-making course, we were asked to work on iterations of any subject we chose. i decided to work on faeries as this felt challenging yet simple. my main goals were to use as few structures as possible, relying on abstractions of shape and form. i tried to make ones that were more geometric in nature, mainly working with simple lines.
this was a digital painting born out of a bout of spontaneous inspiration. i wanted to portray the feeling of loneliness in the middle of the crowd, with an added sense of mystery and the subject is deep in thought.
