khwabeeda talkies
2018
project: posters and other promotional graphics for 'khwabeeda talkies 2018', the theme was journey inspired by 'truck art' from southeast asia.
​
design: i used really bright and eye catching colors like the vibrant and deep pink, yellow, blue and red. the logo uses the font 'carnevalee freakshow' to tap into the showmanship of the theme. everything created was made with the idea of catching attention. traditional and popular indian motifs and patterns are used to add on to the 'truck art' theme indigenous to southeast asia.

Raabta
2019
project: posters and other promotional graphics for 'raabta 2019', the theme was folk inspired by the traditional art from rural india.
​
design: in this design, i used organic textures like mud walls and fine woven cloth as well as bright earthen colors. the logo references the font 'samarkan' and is hand drawn, i stylized the logo for further use. i made and used illustrations based on drawings and motifs found in rural india for the design. along with earthen colors, i used gold for that added hint of grandeur.

khwabeeda talkies 2020
project: posters and other promotional graphics for ‘khwabeeda talkies 2020’ a film festival based on the theme home. i worked as the head of creativity & productions, leading a team of designers and videographers.
​
design: for this project, wanting to show different aspects of home i used scrapbook designs, organic textures that feel 3d, vintage elements. the colors are mostly subtle and muted to draw on the warm, cosy feeling of home.

a simple, elegant typeface
a distinction between khwabeeda and talkies similar to traditional ‘talkies’ cinema
